CID and OLC Italy 2018: AN ENCORE FROM OUR VERY OWN ALEX BUSCA

CID 2018

In 2018, our association’s gliding representative Alex Busca was once again named ITALIAN CHAMPION in the OPEN class of the CID (Campionato Italiano di Distanza). In addition to this very prestigious result, our outstanding pilot also won 3rd place overall in the CLUB class ranking thanks to his two amazing flights with ASK 21s (which are like Nimbuses in his hands !).
The icing on the cake is being recognised – again in the CID – for the best flight of the year, a flight of  969,99Km completed on 18 July, travelling around the pylons at Tirano, Puimoisson and Col Ferret and thus completing a triangle of 796.5 km at an average of 102.92 km/h.

OLC Italy 2018
