“I fly” ——– RAI 5 — TV fiction

IO VOLO RAI 5

a “must” for students and gliding pilots.
Glider flight, not intended as a competitive activity,
but as a search for a style and a philosophy of life.
The story is inspired by the teachings that flight exercises on those who practice it.

IO LO POSSO CAPIRE

In flight as in life it is important to strive to foresee the future, to project oneself in time and space.
The story of a gliding champion and a beginner resemble each other because they share the trust in what still has to come.

IO NON MI FERMO

In the flight nothing is left to chance and yet the unexpected is around the corner.
There always comes a time when decisions have to be made without being entirely sure of the consequences. Learning to decide with uncertainty is the first step in controlling anxiety.

IO HO DEI DUBBI

When flying the wind is relative.
The perception of the world that you have from a glider is often deceptive and in this it resembles life: there is not a single point of reference, there are many. Doubt is part of our nature.

IO PARTO E MI FERMO LONTANO

Sometimes what happens forces you to change your plans, other times everything goes exactly as you expected.
In flight, as in life, you never take off taking for granted that you will return.

IO HO PAURA E MI FERMO QUI

A driver as well as each one of us must deal with failure sooner or later. Failure brings with it the desire for revenge. Failing is a fortune and the flights of the past are the basis for improvement. Learning to give up is difficult but essential.

IO MI COMMUOVO

There are so many scary old drivers. Daredevils generally don’t get old.
From the mistakes of others one learns, in flight as in life, that luck and experience are just as important but only thanks to memory do goals become starting points.

IO CE LA FACCIO

Having a goal in mind allows, both in flight and in everyday life, to overcome the obstacles that come to us from outside and from within us.
Full freedom, in flight, is obtained with the iron discipline of those who set a goal to achieve.

IO SONO COSCIENTE

In our society, death is a banned word awkwardly replaced by terms such as “disappearance”.
The flight always has to do with death, it is a concrete possibility with which we live more or less serenely.

IO E IL TUTTO

Flying means having a special relationship with the sky.
The pilot experiences more often than anyone else a total and absolute closeness to nature, which can be both friendly and enemy to him at the same time. Feeling part of the whole is an intuition that makes us feel alive.

IO SONO SOLO

In flight you are alone. Often we judge ourselves other times we forgive everything.
The weight of clouds and dreams weighs heavily on our shoulders. Flight helps introspection. A driver who is not afraid is at the same time at the beginning and end of his growth path.
